GPG LAMORY CONSULTING
Guillaume P. G. Lamory
Independent Reasearcher in Ontology & Organizational Identity
Independent Researcher in Ontology & Organizational Identity
A specialist who studies, autonomously and without fixed institutional affiliation, the fundamental nature of being (ontology) as applied to organizations.
He investigates how organizations define and maintain themselves through time, despite change. He answers fundamental questions: "What makes an organization remain the same while evolving?" and "How does collective identity emerge from individual interactions?"
This field sits at the intersection of philosophy, organizational sociology, and strategic management.
Activities
Strategic Consulting
He helps companies and institutions clarify their identities, culture, or reson for being, especially during mergers, restructuring, or crises of meaning. His ontological approach allows work on the very foundations of the organization or brand, rather than on superficial symptoms.
Training & Workshop
He leads seminars for executives, HR, or marketing teams on themes such as organizational coherence (Corporate, Brand, Client), authentic leadership, or brand coherence.
Research Projects
He conducts specific research for public bodies, private foundations, or think tank interested in his work.
Publications & Conferences
He publishes specialized books, scientific articles, and columns, and speaks at academic conferences and professional colloquia.
From Marketing to Ontology: A Quest for Truth
My journey began in communication, but the need to understand led me to marketing, then brand identity. As a consultant and lecturer in business schools, I observed that existing tools, whether expert or scientific, lacked anchoring, coherence, and permanence.
Driven by insatisfaction, I undertook to define the mechanisms of identity construction myself. This quest consumed me for ten years, leading me to explore lexicology, Greek and Latin etymology, and formal ontology.
Reasearch and Scientific Debate
Science is built through confrontation. The manuscript Universal Mechanisms of Identity Construction is submitted to the international community (available on Philpapers).
Preliminary exchanges are underway with professors and thinkers, such as B. Joseph Pine II, who are seeking the scientific grounding of identity necessary to anchor major concepts, like the Transformation Economy.
